Jayme has experience working with a variety of issues and populations. She has provided therapy at a state prison; residential substance abuse treatment center; adolescent treatment center; and community mental health clinic. Jayme believes that each individual has a unique set of strengths, goals, dreams, preferences, interests, and ways of interacting with the world around him/her. She endeavors to create a safe, sacred, and trusting atmosphere in the therapeutic relationship that honors the client’s individuality and what he/she wants or needs from treatment. Within this space of acceptance and safety, she uses an array of techniques to assist individuals in accessing their own inner wisdom and strength. Jayme has received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, expressive therapy techniques, and various mind/body techniques.
